Item: IPC धारा 53 – “दंड के प्रकार” (Punishments)
IPC के अंतर्गत दिए जाने वाले दंड (Punishments) पाँच प्रकार के हैं:
1. मृत्युदंड (Death Penalty)
2. आजीवन कारावास (Imprisonment for life)
3. साधारण कारावास (Simple imprisonment)
4. कठोर कारावास (Rigorous imprisonment)
5. जुर्माना (Fine)
6. या इनका संयोजन (Combination)
